People who use the word "addiction&q...So true! People who use the word "addiction" just want an easy way out of taking responsibility for themselves. Food, alcohol, nicotine, drug, and most other behavior-related habits are decisions, not diseases. I understand that people sometimes have chemical imbalances that cause depression and other erratic behavior. But the drugs to treat those behaviors are incredibly over-prescribed. People are usually able to "cure" their diseases by deciding to be well.
