With Ricardo's eyes

This photo was taken by the late Ricardo Schütz in Southern Brazil in 2008 or 2009, whether in Santa Cruz do Sul (where I then taught) or at some other place in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, I do not know for I see these pics in 2026 {Elsa, Ricardo's daughter, sent them to me}, for the first time.

I feel pleased with this pic for it radiates an attentiveness that I rarely see in photos of myself. And, needless to say, this is precisely how I like to see myself.
