Looking at myself in the mirror has little effect on my being aware of my aging. Looking at myself in photographs is slightly different for they froze a moment in time. Also, they document change. Should I however be truly interested in having my age shown to me, I need to place myself next to younger people for only then I do not just see but experience that I'm getting older. That I'm not doing this here is very probably an indication that I prefer not to be confronted with it.
