"Painted" by Water

Some years ago, in the Southern California desert, my friend Emelle, a photographer, irritated me rather often by stopping at the most unremarkable places - like for instance a pool of water on the street - in order to take photographs of what she thought were interesting images "painted" by water. I  didn't really pay attention. And then, in April 2015, while on a walk along the railway track in Sargans, the reflection of a tree in a pool of water caught my attention (see below) and Emelle's "water project" did come to mind.
